Voluntary support: Libraries open from September 2024!
The Eberhard Alexander Burgh library and the Halemweg district library will open their doors again in September 2024. After months of closure due to acute lack of personnel, both libraries will now be accessible to visitors with volunteer support in one afternoon a week.
The Halemweg district library will be open every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. from September. This offers the residents of the quarter the opportunity to access a localized library resource again and to satisfy their reading needs.
A little later in January 2025, the full reopening of both libraries is planned. This will surely be a joyful message for all book lovers in the area who have long been waiting to be able to use the diverse resources and offers of the libraries again.
