A remarkable anniversary was celebrated in Reinickendorf on Monday when Vera and Heinz Funk celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. This rare festival was celebrated by the family and Dominik Lindhammer, the head of the department for senior citizens. He brought flower greetings and best wishes on behalf of the district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) and the Reinickendorf district office.

Vera and Heinz Funk made their marriage promise in Reinickendorf 65 years ago, on August 26, 1959. They have been living in Berlin-Tegel since 2000. Both worked for a long time at the Federal Insurance Institute for Employees (BFA).

The life of the couple has been enriched by their loving children and three grandchildren. A family that was welded together through six decades of marriage and countless memories.
