On August 27, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Britz in the evening, leaving two young men injured. The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Britzer Damm in the direction of Hermannstrasse. According to the investigations of the Berlin police A 19-year-old was driving a Seat when an unknown person was driving their vehicle to the right of him. She used her indicator to turn right onto Jahnstrasse, but turned her vehicle and collided with the Seat.
The impact caused the Seat to leave the road and hit the glass front of a shop, causing significant damage. The 19-year-old and his 18-year-old passenger suffered injuries. Paramedics transported both to the hospital, the 18-year-old had back injuries and the 19-year-old had a leg injury.
Search for the fugitive
As a result of the accident, the unknown person fled towards Blaschkoallee. The police have started an investigation to clarify the exact cause of the accident and to determine the identity of the fugitive.
