For safety reasons, all 87 bicycles of this brand that were procured between 2020 and 2021 were pulled out of traffic and a ban on use were imposed. In addition, 68 bicycles of another brand were temporarily withdrawn from use due to an increased risk of falling.

The restrictions on use have a significant impact on the patrol service activities of the bicycle relay and traffic monitoring. The police management states that a corresponding replacement of this size is not available. Measures to remedy the defects are underway to ensure the safety of the bicycle police officers and to restore the smooth use of their bicycles.
