Traffic accident in Kreuzberg - driver commits driver escape

A traffic accident occurred in Kreuzberg last Wednesday evening, in which a young man was injured. The other involved, a woman who has not yet been identified, committed the driver's flight and has disappeared since then.

According to the police, the accident occurred at 7.30 p.m. on Gitschiner Straße towards Kottbusser Tor. The 24-year-old man was on his right lane with his scooter when the driver drove on the left side on the left. Suddenly the woman is said to have switched to the right road, whereupon she drained the young man off the trail. This resulted in the motiflers driver collided and fell with a warning bake.

The injured person was immediately taken care of by alarmed emergency services and then taken to a hospital by rescue workers. He complained of pain in the neck and chest area due to the fall.

The driver stopped briefly after the collision and got out of her vehicle. She asked about the health of the scooter driver and then got back into her car. Then she turned into Prinzenstrasse, towards Baerwaldstrasse, and no longer returned to the scene of the accident.

The police are now investigating the driver's flight and is looking for witnesses who may be able to provide further information about the incident. The driver is sought as an important witness to clarify the exact course of the accident and to receive any criminal information.
