Despite the critical situation, the doctors fought for his leg, which for the civil servant became a struggle for survival, as reported.
After a day hospitalization, the police officer is finally released from the Bundeswehr hospital, where he is received by friends and colleagues with a trellis. However, it is uncertain whether he can ever work on duty again. The costs for the necessary rehabilitation measures are expected to be high and go beyond the regular payments, which is why a fundraising campaign on the Gofundme platform was launched. By Wednesday afternoon, almost 16,000 euros came together to support the financial burdens of the official, as well as the Berliner Zeitung reported.
