A new chapter: BSW takes over the political stage in Berlin

New political movement is founded in Berlin and plans to participate in the government

In Adlershof, the founding meeting of the Sahra Wagenknecht Allianz (BSW) took place in Berlin, at which Alexander King, a former member of the left, and Josephine Thyrêt, a nurse, were elected as co-chair. With overwhelming votes of 75.8% or 86.4%, they were appointed to their new offices to fill the new national group with life. The BSW in Berlin, launched with 81 members, symbolizes a growing political force in the city. This step marks an important milestone in the political landscape of Berlin.

The main concern of the BSW is said to be peace. The party wants to establish itself as a motor for social cohesion and peaceful solutions. Peace initiatives play a crucial role in a time of great geopolitical tensions in Ukraine and in the Middle East. The BSW is also committed to social justice and a humane migration policy that enables a fair distribution of refugees in Berlin.

The focus of the new party is also on living space, economic development and the debureaucratization of small and medium -sized companies. With a clear positioning, BSW wants to significantly influence the Berlin political landscape and participate in government decisions. A possible coalition with the AfD or the Greens is excluded from King, but the cooperation with other parties is not excluded for the future.

The BSW founding meeting was launched by Sahra Wagenknecht, a prominent former left-wing politician. The presentation of the new chairpersons and their political goals were unveiled at a press conference in which the media were fully informed. This new political movement will help shape the coming years in Berlin and promises an innovative and committed alternative to the city's established parties. - nag
