Married couple Dietrich: From Berlin-Spandau to the quiet idyll of Perleberg

Martina and Andreas Dietrich left their lives in Berlin-Spandau in March this year and moved to Perleberg. The couple had affected the constant hustle and bustle and the noise of the big city. "You are jostled, everywhere are crowds," says Andreas, who is now retired. In Perleberg they found a quiet property in the Eschenhof residential area, where the construction of a barrier -free bungalows will soon begin to take into account Martina's visual impairment.

The Dietrichs currently live in an apartment on the Bahnhofsplatz while stored some of their things in a rented garage. You have already sold your house in Berlin-Spandau and plan to finance the construction without a loan. They are enthusiastic about the quality of life in Perleberg: "The people here are very different from in the big city - helpful and friendly," they say.
