Berlin-Friedenau, Deutschland - in Berlin-Friedenau, the police arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of illegal trade in drugs. Emergency services from the State Criminal Police Office searched his apartment after an arrest warrant of the public prosecutor's office. Investigators were based on information from the encrypted messenger service "Encrochat" to demonstrate extensive drug transactions to the man.

Between March and June 2020, the accused is said to have handled around 17 transactions. These were impressive quantities: four kilograms of crystal meth, 20,000 ecstasy tablets, 40 kilograms of speed and about 116 kilograms of cocaine. During the search, the officers also found around one million euros in cash, cocaine, MDMA, 15 moving boxes full of cannabis products and even a charged firearm.
