Urgently wanted: stem cell donor for brave little Leandra from Berlin
Little Leandra from Berlin wants nothing more than a normal childhood. Unfortunately, this is not possible for her due to severe aplastic anemia. This disease of the blood damages the cells of the bone marrow, which usually develop into ripe blood cells. To save Leandra's life, a stem cell donor is urgently sought.
Leandra had to endure a lot of suffering in her young life, but she didn't lose the courage. The German bone marrow donor file (DKMS) now calls up again to be typed because a stem cell donation Leandra could give the chance to be a normal and happy child again.
The diagnosis was a shock for Leandra's family. The values in her blood test were catastrophic and she had to go to the hospital immediately. Since then, she has received regular blood transfusions, prophylaxis medication and immunotherapy as well as bone marrow functions. But despite all these hardships, Leandra does not give up.
The members of their family have not given up hope and are looking for every positive message to maintain their hope. Everyday life has not normalized since the diagnosis. The family dreams of health, common holidays and a carefree time, far from hospitals and daily medication.

Leandra's father Clemens hopes that as many people as possible will participate in order to save not only his daughter, but also other people who urgently need help.
