Triple shock: ATMs in Marzahn and Hünibach blown up!
In the night of December 10, 2024, two banks were hit by unknown perpetrators in Marzahn, Berlin and Hünibach, Switzerland. Around 3 a.m., a security employee noticed three suspects in Berlin who entered the vault of a bank branch in the Marzahner Promenade. The perpetrators put explosive devices on an ATM and lit them. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the property damage is considerable. The robbers then fled with bicycles and an e-scooter towards Franz-Stenzer-Straße. The State Criminal Police Office now determines to find out whether and how much money they robbed them, as berlin.de reported.
