Fortunately, four security employees of the Berlin Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) noticed the incident and intervened. Thanks to his quick response, the attacked BVG employee was able to stick to a sign and thus prevent him from falling into the track bed before the approaching path.

The two attackers were arrested by the police and the criminal police were transferred. The 17-year-old attacked suffered injuries on the face, neck and leg and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The exact motivation of the attackers is not yet known.
