Germany's first “Storchenlandenbahn” wins the German Prize for Economic Communication

In a surprising award, the Blaublicht agency won the renowned "German Prize for Economic Communication 2024" (DPWK) in Berlin. The excellent campaign of the Hamburg creative campaign was awarded in the "PR and Corporate Communication" category. They campaigned in a very unusual way for new obstetrics in the Christian Hospital Quakenbrück: they initiated Germany's first “Storchenlandenbahn”. Even from a tower of DFS Deutsche Flugensicherung GmbH, they got expert advice.

"We are totally surprised that we won. We really didn't expect that with this strong competition," said Lisa Müller, managing director of the Blaublicht agency, right after the award show in Berlin. Well -known companies such as Viessmann or the BVG were also represented in the category.

Also Marc Raschke, communication consultant at the Blaublicht agency, emphasized the good cooperation with hospital management. "We were immediately on the same wavelength." For him, the DPWK, which has been awarded by the Berlin University of Applied Sciences for over 20 years, is a very special prize. "It impresses me how the jury is doing in a scientific procedure and thus created the most progressive communication award in Germany."

The jury of the DPWK is organized in two stages. First of all, students from the Bachelor and Master's degree in business communication and neighboring courses in the HTW (computer science, media design, etc.) view the competitive submissions. In a second step, the confidential ratings are discussed with a specialist jury. This consists of professors and communication experts from practice and evaluates the campaigns according to a scientific criteria catalog. The assessment is fair, objectively and independent of interest groups.

The profit of the DPWK is recognition for the blue light agency and the Christian Hospital Quakenbrück. The unusual idea of ​​the “Storchenlandenbahn” not only draws attention to the hospital, but also illustrates the creative approach of the blue light agency.
