Four nominations for RBB for the German Radio Prize 2024

The Bundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) has reason to be happy because it was nominated four times for the German Radio Prize. In the "Best Morning" category, "The Beautiful Morgen" from Radioeins hopes for an award. Jule Jank von Fritz is the "best moderator" in the race. "In 80 hours throughout Berlin" by RBB 88.8 was nominated for the "best program campaign". In addition, the Podcast "In Poland" from the RBB24 Inforadio has chances for the title as "best information format".

The beautiful morning - nominated as "best morning broadcast"

Daily from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., "The beautiful morning" offers pop cultural quality journalism with the latest information from politics, culture, business, science and sport - both from Berlin, Brandenburg and worldwide. The moderator: inside Kerstin Hermes, Julia Menger, Marco Seiffert and Tom Böttcher ensure a good mood and hand -picked music. This morning broadcast was awarded the "Best Morgenung" at the German Radio Prize in 2010.

jule Jank - nominated as "best moderator"

Jule Jank has been moderating at the RBB youth wave Fritz since 2019 and designs the afternoon program from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. It brings the listeners: inside with various actions, such as the Mallorca hit to open the Ballermann season or the listener Alex, where a listener was made a social media star. Jule Jank was born and grew up in Berlin. She is a passionate radio listener and came to Fritz via an internship where she has stayed.

To celebrate the unity and diversity of Berlin, RBB 88.8 started the biggest Berlin schnitzel hunt ever. The moderator Tim Koschwitz drove through all 97 districts of Berlin in just 80 hours. From north to south, from east to west - nothing could stop him. For five days, Tim was traveling with his e-bike, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., a total of 16 hours a day. In every district he got a mystery that he could only solve with the help of the Berliners: inside and the listener: inside of RBB 88.8. This campaign was a journey to the people, the stories and the many facets of the city.

"in Poland" - nominated as "best information format"

in the podcast "in Poland" Kristin Joachim and Martin Adam from the ARD studio Warsaw report on developments in our neighboring country. They offer informative and at the same time entertaining contributions and illuminate politics, business, society and the culinary diversity of Poland. In their conversations, they integrate political analyzes and impressive reports. Since the parliamentary election 2023 and the change of power, they have accompanied the changes in Poland, which is still an unknown country for many Germans.

The German Radio Prize has been awarded to the best radiomakers: inside Germany.
