Anyone who turns on Königsallee in Grunewald on Oberhaardter Weg will come to Griegstrasse. A fine area, with beautiful houses. On a walk I stumbled over a conductor in bronze, man -up on a base. It is not the Norwegian Edvard Grieg. I know it, it looks different. Similar to Mark Twain, with a flowing white hair and mustache. The man on the base is more reminiscent of a scene from a Harry Potter film. The Maestro depicted swings his conductor as if he is being carried out by an Expecto patronus magic. Around ten years ago, a resident put the plastic on, I learned from the neighborhood.
The above Mark Twain, author of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, lived in Berlin from October 1891 to March 1892.
