Workshop A Good Game: For exclusion in football - event on July 11, 2024
The role of football in social integration
Football is a fascinating sport that connects people around the world. But in addition to the positive side of sport, fans and players are always victims of exclusion and discrimination. The education department for sustainable development (SBNE) is dedicated to this explosive topic in a workshop series entitled "Who cheers in the stadium and who is not allowed? - Forms of exclusion in football and counter strategies ”in the Bauhaus Reuse.
on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 6 p.m. , interested parties have the opportunity to learn more about forms of discrimination in football and how it can be effectively counteracted. The workshop is organized by SBNE in cooperation with social games e.V. and is part of the efforts to implement the 17 sustainability goals at the local level. The event is supported by the Senate Department for Sport.
The cooperation partner Party Games e.V. is committed to better understanding and questioning social and political processes through football and fan culture. With various events such as lectures, workshops and youth encounters, topics such as racism, anti -Semitism, right -wing extremism, sexism and homophobia are processed.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge, but registration is required at sbne@charlottenburg-wilmersdorf.de. If you have any further questions, interested parties can contact Ms. Juliane Brix at Juliane.brix@charlottenburg-wilmersdorf.de.
The workshop in the Bauhaus Reuse offers an important platform to discuss the importance of football as an integration factor in society and to develop strategies against discrimination and exclusion together. It is a step towards a diverse and inclusive football culture in which everyone is welcome independently of origin, gender or sexual orientation.
