Learning to drive safe: traffic safety training for e-scooters and pedelecs in Charlottenburg

Free training courses of the Youth Transport School Charlottenburg in August

The Charlottenburg youth transport school again offers free traffic safety training in August together with the Berlin police (section 25). This time courses are specially available for the use of e-scooters and pedelecs.

from August 12, 2024 to August 26, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., pedelec training is offered. Participants learn everything important about the safe use of pedelecs, including speed, keep distance, the "dead corner", reaction times, visibility in road traffic as well as the importance of protective clothing and theft protection. Pedelecs and helmets can be provided, but there is also the possibility to bring your own equipment with you.

course for e-scooter drivers

on August 13, 2024 and August 27, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be a special e-scooter course. Here is also comprehensively informed about security aspects and practical driving exercises are offered. Here too, e-scooters and required protective equipment can be provided.

The training courses are held on the grounds of the youth traffic school in Loschmidtstraße 6-10. Interested parties are asked to register on 0151 29 27 53 20.
Young people under the age of 16 can only participate in the accompaniment of an adult or a person aged 16 and over, based on the duty of supervision.
