Shoulder view 2024: Experience young filmmaking in the Haus der Jugend

On Saturday, November 23, 2024 , the House of Youth in Charlottenburg will be the setting for an impressive spectacle- the children's and youth film festival "Shoulderblick". From 4 p.m. , emerging film talents aged 6 to 21 present their creative works on the big screen. An exciting event that not only awakens the enthusiasm of young filmmakers, but also attracts prices!

The fifth edition of this festival is celebrated under the patronage of the passionate educational and cultural councilor Heike Schmitt-Melz as well as the committed youth and health city council Detlef Wagner. It is a unique opportunity for the young stars of tomorrow to present their short films to a wide audience. The top three contributions are awarded a total of 900 euros, with the main winner taking a cash prize of up to 500 euros home! Even praise of the jury will not be missing!

Heike Schmitt-Schmelz emphasizes the importance of the cooperation between schools and youth work: "Through joint projects, we strengthen social skills and offer young people valuable learning opportunities outside the classroom."
