The annual information evening on the topic "Sustainable urban renewal in Charlottenburg-Nord" will take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Halemweg district center (Halemweg 18, admission from 6.15 p.m.). District city councilor Christoph Brzezinski and the employees of the urban development office will inform about construction projects around the Halemweg.

Since April 2023, the Department of Urban Development, Real Estate and IT has taken over the leadership in the sustainable renewal of district mayor Kirstin Bauch. At the annual information evening, the progress of the projects of sustainable urban renewal is presented. Among other things, the stand will be an issue for the traffic calming concept. The Evangelical Community of the Atonement Christi Church and the Charlottenburg building cooperative will then report on their projects. After all, there will be the opportunity to discuss individual questions in conversation. Residents, but also interested parties and active people, can participate.

District Councilor Christoph Brzezinski commented on the projects and said: “I am very pleased that the renewal of the green area between Halemweg and Popitzweg will be completed this year with the last construction phase around Halemweg underground station and thus can be provided for the residents, children and adolescents in the district of new offers through the district, among other things, the long Ball playing field.
