Sustainable art: opening of the exhibition 'Ungater' with Tainá Guedes and Environmental Councilor Schruoffeneger

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the English -language exhibition "Unlater: A reflection of our most precious resource - water" with the artist Tainá Guedes and environmental city councilor Oliver Schruoffeneger in the basement of Wilma, Wilmersdorfer Straße 46, opens. The exhibition, presented by the Education Office for Sustainable Development of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, deals with the contexts between water, food and sustainable development.

A central work of art of the exhibition is a monumental sculpture in the form of a fountain that consists of hundreds of bottles and bears messages from creative minds and committed individuals from all over the world. These bottles symbolize the importance of communal engagement to protect the planet earth and its water reserves.

Visitors have the opportunity to visit the exhibition from January 18 to February 29, 2024. Admission is free and the exhibition is aimed at people of all ages who are interested in environmental protection and creative forms of expression. The exhibition is part of the educational and public relations work on the 17 sustainability goals of the 2030 Agenda in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district.

The event is organized by the Bildungs ​​office for sustainable development of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district in cooperation with the Wilma shopping center.
