A last call for green oases: Environmental office gives away the last green treasures

The "Baum is looking for land for getting old" of the environmental and nature conservation office in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf is coming to an end. By Sunday, September 1, 2024, interested parties still have the opportunity to apply as a tree partner: inside and to maintain one of the remaining trees that are financed by the office.

The 65 trees offered this year are about to use. The application is aimed at property owners: inside, daycare centers, homeowner communities, housing associations and cooperatives that actively want to promote biodiversity and habitats on their land.

The participating people or facilities not only receive a tree, but also the support of the environmental office until it is inserted into the planting hole, including the necessary piles, binders and plant instructions. In return, they undertake to ensure the growth and care of the trees.

All interested parties who want to apply for these Greens in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf have to send the application form with the planned location to baumpartner@charlottenburg-wilmersdorf by September 1, 2024. The action ends as soon as all trees are assigned. The delivery of the trees begins in early November.
