Die öffentliche INSEL-Konferenz „Bauvorhaben Goslarer Ufer auf der Mierendorff-INSEL – gemeinsam Mehrwert schaffen“ wird am Samstag, 25. Mai 2024, von 11 bis 14.30 Uhr auf dem Baugrundstück Goslarer Ufer 23-27 (Ecke Quedlinburger Straße) stattfinden. Der Bezirksstadtrat für Stadtentwicklung, Liegenschaften und IT Christoph Brzezinski lädt gemeinsam mit dem Bauherrn incept GmbH, dem INSEL-Zukunftsteam und dem bezirklichen Raum für Beteiligung zu einer interaktiven Beteiligungsveranstaltung ein. Auf dem Vorhabengrundstück gegenüber dem Landesamt für Flüchtlingsangelegenheiten ist ein Bauvorhaben geplant, das hauptsächlich neuen Wohnraum schaffen soll. On the project property to the State Office for Refugee Matters, a construction project is planned to create mainly new living space. The Mierendorff Island is a lively and expanding district with a limited area. The planned compression must therefore be in accordance with the sustainability goals of the island.

The conference offers residents the opportunity to become involved in the planning process at an early stage and actively bring in their opinions and ideas. The event will present the current status of the construction project, explain questions about planning law and show the infrastructural needs of the district. In various workshops, the participants can deepen the topics presented and make their own contributions.

District Mayor Kirstin Bauch emphasizes the importance of space for participation in order to create transparency in administrative work and to encourage the residents to actively participate in their district. It is expected that representatives of the administration, specialist planning, residents and for the first time a private investor will also talk about the project.
