Kurfürstendamm, 10627 Berlin, Deutschland - in Berlin there is movement in the debate about naming a place after the legendary entertainer Harald Juhnke. Wegner described Juhnke as a true Berlin original that inspired many people at home and abroad. This announcement comes shortly before the artist's 20th anniversary of death, which is on April 1st.
The initiative for the name of the space was initiated by the factions of the CDU, Greens, SPD and FDP in the district parliament of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. An urgency application was submitted to the district council to name the square on the Kurfürstendamm/Uhlandstraße/Grolmanstraße street corner in Juhnke.
