This film is more than just a biographical work - it immerses a life of the renowned New York photographer Nan Goldin, who has made a name for itself with her blunt representations of sex, drugs and violence in the art scene. But the path to celebrity was rocky. A dramatic turning point in Goldin's life occurred in 2014 when she had to struggle after an operation with the dependence on oxycontin, a pain reliever that was sold by the notorious pharmadynasty sackler. Her journey back into life began with the fight against this family, which not only plays an influential role in the pharmaceutical sector, but also in art.
