Film & Talk #2030: Documentation about Skateistan girls in Kabul on February 2, 2024

On Friday, February 2, 2024, at 6 p.m., the film series "Film & Talk #2030" of the Bildungs ​​Bildungs ​​for Sustainable Development (SBNE) of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district shows the documentary "Learning to Skateboard in A War Zone (IF You’re A Girl)" by Carol Dysinger in the Kino Delphi Lux station. The film accompanies young Afghan girls and her teachers of the Skateistan initiative in Kabul and addresses the support of underprivileged girls in a country characterized by conflicts.

The non -profit organization Skateistan focuses on the support of girls in Afghanistan, which combines traditional school lessons with skateboard lessons in order to give girls better chances of regular school education. The film shows how the girls are supported by their teachers.
