A bicycle check to improve traffic safety and the coding of bicycles will be offered on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. by the Youth Transport School in cooperation with the Berlin police (section 25). In the past, there were various initiatives to improve traffic safety in Berlin, especially for cyclists. Coding bicycles is an effective measure to make the theft of bicycles more difficult and to facilitate the identification of stolen bikes.A table with statistics on bicycle thefts in the region, which could be reduced by the coding of bicycles, would be a sensible addition to this event.
