A place for green ideas and healthy community: The neighborhood laboratory opens its doors

An old ship container is converted into an innovative energy -self -sufficient Tiny House and opens its goals on the busy pedestrian zone of Wilmersdorfer Straße between Schillerstraße and Bismarckstrasse as a neighborhood laboratory from Monday, August 5, 2024.

The neighborhood laboratory is under the motto "Green and healthy - we move the neighborhood" together and offers more than 25 exciting events for over ten days. The topics of communal urban development to artificial intelligence to measures to adapt to climate adaptation at the local level extend from hands -on activities to neighborhoods to creative handicrafts.

The start of the neighborhood laboratory on Monday, August 5, 2024, begins at 3 p.m. with the workshop "Strong Department" on the future of the neighborhood in cooperation with the room for participation. The public event on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 3 p.m., is the crowning glory at the district councilor Oliver Schruoffeneger the question "What remains of two weeks Kiezlabor?" will discuss.

The Kiezlabor on Wilmersdorfer Straße is the result of a cooperation between Citylab, the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office and the room for Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf participation, which together create a diverse platform for innovative thinking and active participation in the community.
