English -speaking exhibition Unstore: Reflection by our most precious resource - water in the Charlottenburg town hall
The opening of the English -language exhibition "Unlater: A reflection of our most precious resource - water" with the artist Tainá Guedes and environmental city councilor Oliver Schruoffeneger will take place on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 4 p.m. in the Charlottenburg town hall.
The exhibition "Unzater" is an emerging art exhibition, which is presented by the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office and deals with the connections between water, food and sustainable development. It is part of the educational and public relations work on the 17 sustainability goals of the 2030 agenda in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. The exhibition is aimed at people of all ages who are interested in environmental protection and creative forms of expression.
The heart of the exhibition is a monumental sculpture in the form of a well consisting of hundreds of bottles. It was designed by creative minds and committed individuals from all over the world and symbolizes the importance of community engagement to protect the planet earth and its water reserves.
In addition to the sculpture, other works of art are also presented in the gallery of the Charlottenburg town hall. The exhibition takes place from Tuesday, October 17th to Wednesday, November 15, 2023 and admission is free. Guided tours with the artist, workshops and lectures are offered for school classes.
The exhibition "Unlater" is part of the international youth conference "Water" 2023, which takes place in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf from Monday, October 30th to Friday, November 3, 2023. The conference deals with global challenges related to water and offers young people the opportunity to discuss ideas and solutions.
