Eislauf season ends with a special program at the Horst-Dohm Ice Stadium

This year's ice skating season in the Horst-Dohm ice stadium is slowly coming to an end, as the temperatures rise and the ice begins to melt. The last day on which the visitor can make their rounds on the inside, Sunday, March 10, 2024.

In order to complete the season, the tenant Icedout has put together a special program. On Saturday evening, freestyler will show their acrobatic ice skating skills on the inner surface of the stadium from 7 p.m. On Sunday, visitors can draw their circles together with various Disney figures from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with various Disney figures.

The sports city councilor Heike Schmitt-Melz was positive about the past season and thanked all employees who contributed to the successful course. From the extension of the opening times to the new design of the ice stadium, many positive aspects were mentioned, which visitors enjoyed. Schmitt-Melz also announced that it would use the summer time to carry out renovation work and improvements to further optimize the ice stadium for the coming season.
