The moving artist biography: All the Beauty and Bloodshed - premiere in the Delphi Lux cinema at Zoo station!

Next Friday, October 4, 2024, a very special film evening is coming up in the Delphi Lux at the Zoologisches Garden train station. The film series "Film & Talk #2030" of the Education for Sustainable Development (SBNE) of the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf presents the fascinating artist biography "All the Beauty and Bloodshed" by Laura Poitras.

The film tells the moving history of New York's photographer Nan Goldin, who became the icon of the art world through her relentless pictures of sex, drugs and violence. After becoming an oxycontin in 2014, she successfully fought the pharmadynasty Sackler, who sells the medication. Thanks to their activism, renowned museums such as the Louvre donations are now rejected by the sackers.

After the film screening, the audience has the opportunity to get into conversation as part of "Film & Talk" with Marc Pestotnik, speaker for addiction prevention, and Marius Penzel, a freelance journalist and approved pharmacist

tickets for the event are available in the Delphi Lux cinema. School classes also have the opportunity to book the film in the school cinema for a month. Further information and registration at: sbne@charlottenburg-wilmersdorf.de.
