According to the federal police, a car slipped down the embankment from a neighboring dirt road and landed in the track bed. Fortunately, there was no collision on a train. Travelers who are traveling towards Poland are currently stranded at Pillgram station. In order to increase security at train stations, the federal police have introduced a "brace of dangerous objects" at four Berlin train stations due to the increase in violent acts, including knife attacks. This ban applies in the night from Friday to Saturday between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. at the Gesundbrunnen, Ostkreuz, Warschauer Straße and Südkreuz, such as Tagesspiegel reported. In recent years there has been a worrying increase in 1514 violent offenses at these stations, including 36 cases with knives in the past year alone. In order to protect the citizens, the federal police will be more present on these nights.
