BVG alarm: Massive timetable changes in M1 and 50-affected!
BVG alarm: Massive timetable changes in M1 and 50-affected!
Pankow, Deutschland - For the Berlin passengers, everyday life becomes even more complicated with the BVG! From Monday, October 28th, the popular M1 tram line will be shortened drastically. Instead of driving from "Am Kupfergraben" to Pankow as usual, the M1 only begins at the Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station and ends on Guyotstrasse. This means that numerous central stops such as Monbijouplatz, Oranienburger Straße and the Friedrichstrasse train station are eliminated.
This new regulation complements the existing restrictions through construction work between Pankow and Rosenthal, where a replacement shuttle transports the guests. The construction work also means that line 50 currently does not drive. By November 25th, BVG users have to prepare for these additional inconvenience, while the city is preparing for necessary infrastructure measures. Further current information is available at www.berlin-live.de.
