Buwog receives award for outstanding sustainability in the real estate industry

In the context of the growing consciousness for sustainable practices in real estate development, Buwog Bauträger GmbH recently received recognition for its outstanding contributions to sustainability. The award "Excellent Sustainability 2024", which was awarded by the F.A.Z.-Institut, is the result of a comprehensive analysis in which around 15,000 companies were examined. This process extended over a period of two years, from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024.

The importance of this award goes beyond pure corporate positioning and extends to the future development of public residential projects. Daniel Riedl, member of the board of Vonovia SE, emphasized the opportunity to take into account new construction projects in order to take into account aspects of ecological, social and economic sustainability from the start. "Energy efficiency and construction ecology are crucial to increase the quality of life of the residents and at the same time create environmentally friendly living spaces," says Riedl.
