On Friday, July 19, the progressive rainbow flag in front of the Friedrichshain town hall will be raised to set solidarity, equality and a clear sign against queer hostility. District Mayor Clara Hermann and representatives of LGBTQIA*organizations who work for the rights of the community will be present.

A delegation from Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg will travel to the Pride Festival in Stettin on Saturday, July 20th. There they take part in the equality picnic and the "Marsze Równości". The city partnership between Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Szczecin is cultivated by regular encounters and a varied cooperation, which is initiated by the City Partner Stettin e.V. association. This partnership strengthens social cohesion, mutual respect and openness.
