Soil offensive: Israeli army calls civilians in Gaza to leave

The Israeli army has asked civilians in the Gaza Strip to leave the city for security reasons. This has led to a mass exodus of thousands of people who had to leave their belongings behind and are now standing before nothing. According to a report by the Berlin Morgenpost, the radical Islamic Hamas, which started the war against Israel with attacks on innocent civilians, built concrete barricades on the escape corridors in the Gaza Strip. This increases the risk of becoming the victim of Israeli air strikes in order to blame the government in Jerusalem.

It should not be forgotten that many Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are not a faster of Hamas. For this reason, I ask the Israeli forces to keep the number of killed and injured civilians as low as possible. Even if Israel has the right to self -defense, too many innocent civilians must be prevented and deported hostages lose their lives. Revenge and retaliation alone will not create stability.

Even if Hamas should be destroyed, the question arises as to what happens afterwards. An Israeli military operation with many civilian victims could lead to the camp of the extremists strengthened and a new generation of Hamas terrorists may be created. It is important to show empathy for the Palestinians to ensure long -term stability. A solution to this conflict can only be achieved on the basis of humanism, justice and equality - neither with military violence nor with a line -up. Diplomacy and political participation of the Palestinians are essential.

Unfortunately, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has failed to make the Palestinians an offer of political participation in recent years. The two-state solution required by many countries was ignored. Instead, Netanyahu was influenced by the national religious and ultra-orthodox in his cabinet, who want to drive the construction of other Jewish settlements in the West Bank. This does not lead to compensation with the Palestinians.

It is undisputed that Israel has the right to combat its enemies and defend themselves against terrorist attacks. However, a long -term solution is only possible if the Palestinians are offered the possibility of a dignified life. It should not be forgotten that there are many Palestinians who have no interest in Hamas and their radical approach.
