Attempted robbery in Charlottenburg: Prevected the perpetrator!

Fraunhoferstraße 33-36, 10589 Berlin, Deutschland - on February 29, 2024, around 8:30 p.m., a 39-year-old man in Charlottenburg failed in a robbery on a petrol station in Fraunhoferstrasse. The suspect, which was already in custody, threatened an employee with a pistol and asked for cash. When the employee fled to the office, the perpetrator tried in vain to open the cash register. Ultimately, when he left the petrol station, he grabbed a champagne bottle from the shelf and fled.

Thanks to a hint, the police were able to identify the man. The investigators are now asking for further information from witnesses who could have observed the incident.
