Pair of senior citizens in Kreuzberg - police are looking for witnesses!

In a shocking incident, a couple of senior citizens in Kreuzberg were victim of a brutal robbery on February 24, 2025. Around 11:45 a.m., four to five unknown perpetrators heralded at the front door of the 84-year-old man and his 82-year-old wife. When the senior opened, the perpetrators violently penetrated the apartment, hit the man several times and at the same time captured his wife. As they overwhelmed the couple, the robbers searched the apartment and stolen cash. Then they fled towards Schönleinstrasse.

The Berlin police are now urgently looking for witnesses and reports that the investigation is at full speed. Information on the identity of the suspects is accepted by a specialist commissioner of the police department 5. The threatening event has triggered concern in the neighborhood, and investigators hope for relevant information in order to grasp the perpetrators quickly.
