Rapid escape with the Mercedes: Police grabs drug drivers in Schöneberg!
A dramatic police operation occurred yesterday afternoon in Schöneberg when a 34-year-old driver was arrested after a traffic accident and a daring escape. Civil investigators in police section 41 noticed the man on Frobenstrasse and wanted to check him because he was not in possession of a driver's license. Instead, the driver raced by disregarding red traffic lights and putting other road users in mortal danger.The chase went through several streets, while the driver rammed a cyclist who was luckily unharmed. Finally, the fugitive rammed a police car and tried to run through the traffic with his Mercedes. After a last escalation of the situation, the civil servants managed to arrest the man, resisting resistance. A police officer was slightly injured while a joint was discovered in the vehicle. The Mercedes was previously stolen and was handed over to the legal owner.
The investigation into the incident continues while the arrested person was released after a blood sample. Two police vehicles are no longer driving due to the incident.
