A shocking scene played off in Lichtenrade last night when a 69-year-old driver caught a seven-year-old boy. The incident happened on Wünsdorfer Straße when the boy surprisingly ran from left onto the street. The senior woman could not brake in time and hurled the child to the ground.

rescue workers were immediately alerted and took the injured boy to hospital for inpatient treatment. The police are now investigating a specialist commissioner for traffic offenses of the police department 4 (south) and will clarify the exact course of the accident. The dramatic circumstances of the incident have shaken the neighborhood.
