Karlshorst, Deutschland - Last night a routine bus ride in Karlshorst turned into a chaos! Around 9:50 p.m., a 64-year-old driver of BVG line 296 suddenly lost consciousness while he drove along Zwieseler Strasse. The uncontrolled bus continued to rush and destroyed ten parked cars, a traffic sign, a tree, a garbage can and a power distribution box before it finally stops in a ditch!
Fortunately, the passengers remained unharmed. The driver was severely disappointed on site and immediately taken to the hospital, where he has to remain for observation. Zwieseler Straße remained closed until 0:40 a.m., which also paralyzed the bus traffic of the BVG line 296.
