German PR-Prize 2025 starts tender with many innovations
This year the renowned “German PR-Prize 2025” competition starts with some significant changes. The aim of the professional association Deutsche Public Relations Gesellschaft e.V. (DPRG) is to distinguish outstanding communication projects in 26 different categories. The focus is on the topic of "response" and is interpreted in various ways.
The jury chairman Prof. Dr. Olaf Hoffjann from the University of Bamberg explains that the categories of the PR price are about creating a response to deal with it and use it effectively. Good communication has the potential to change attitudes and mobilize people. Both external resonances in public and internal resonances within an organization are taken into account.
A significant innovation this year is the award of the PR price in various stages. The best submissions in each category receive either bronze or silver. In addition, the overall best submissions of the year are awarded gold. The most outstanding submission can even receive the German PR Prize in Platin. In addition, the most successful agency of the year is honored.
The jury, consisting of 40 communication professionals, consists of both representatives of large companies and agencies as well as experts from science and organizations. This year, new jury members such as Ingrid Gogl (PRVA), Antje Maas (Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles), Andreas Möller (Trumpf), Philipp Schindera (Telekom) and Guido Warlimont (BDI) were also included in the jury.
This year the PR price is devoted to a particularly important topic: artificial intelligence. The special category of the year focuses on communication measures and campaigns that address the opportunities and risks of AI in various areas such as politics, business, education and the media. Last year the topic of "social cohesion" was of great importance and remains preserved as a regular category this year.
Submissions for the German PR Prize 2025 are possible until October 11, 2024. The award ceremony will take place in spring 2025. Further information on the conditions of participation, the categories, the jury and the evaluation procedure can be found on the website pr-preis.de.
The German PR Prize 2025 shows the great commitment of the communication industry to honor innovative projects and to emphasize the importance of effective communication in today's society.
