Berlin animal welfare drama: Christmas for 16 pets in need!
In a shattering incident, a young Husky Welpe, which was called "Sicke", was suspended in the Berlin S-Bahn. The dog, which was only four months old, was completely scared when it was found on December 22 by passengers under a bench. The animal collection point in Falkenberg recorded a total of 16 abandoned pets around Christmas, including two young Australian Shepherds, which were picked up in Charlottenburg without a collar and leash. As the B.Z. reported, society suffers from increasing animal suffering, since many people simply leave their animals behind due to vacation, visit or other personal reasons.
In this critical period of the year there is an alarming trend: "You go on vacation or get a visit, suddenly the animal gets too much and it is put at the door," said animal shelter speaker Christine Streant. This summer, the animal shelters in Berlin found significant growth in exposed to exposed animals. Many of the pets recorded are chipped, but not registered, which makes it difficult to identify the owners. Among the animals was also a cat that was disposed of in a box and fortunately could be found in time.
Huskys and other animals
The emergency position of the huskys is particularly precarious because they are often given on their needs due to misunderstandings. As MeinHusky.de , many owners have false ideas about the requirements of these active and spirited breed. In particular, huskys can come in an emergency due to important reasons such as allergies, removals or even deaths of their owners. These problems illustrate the need for conscientious dog keeping and the responsibility associated with the purchase of a husky.
The animal welfare organizations face the challenge of offering these animals a second chance of a loving home. In the hope that the public will be sensitized, the appeal remains to the animal lovers: gives a Not-Husky a new life and learns more about the species-appropriate attitude of these majestic animals.
