Berlin police are using a new trick: climate glue with thread away, protests successfully ended
The streets of Berlin were the scene of an action by the activists of the group "Last generation" on Friday morning. They not only occupied the roundabout around the Victory Column, but also blocked Dorotheenstraße and Heidestrasse. The police intervened and arrested two people. In the case of previous adhesive protests, the activists were solved from the street with food oil. However, a new method was used in the latest protests.
The police officers removed the climate glue from the asphalt by using a binding thread. The thread is placed around the wrist and then pulled away vigorously. This method saves time and reduces the risk of injury for everyone involved. The Berliner Zeitung (B.Z.) has observed this procedure for the latest protests on Friday.
The police strategy showed success. Shortly before 11 a.m., the Berlin police announced that all blockages were dissolved. The reason for the nationwide protests was the insufficient use of the federal government to reduce the climate -damaging greenhouse gases in the traffic sector.
The topics that are related to these protests are the Berlin police, climate adhesive, last generation and road traffic.
