Berlin relies on green: 20,000 signatures for more climate protection!
The Berlin initiative "Volksenscheid Baum" started its fundraising activities on Monday evening. Organizer Heinrich Strößenreuther and his team are committed to protecting more green areas in the city and increasing social security, while Berlin wants to develop into Germany's first climate community. In order to achieve this, 20,000 signatures are to be collected within one month to promote the referendum.
It is planned to build 600,000 new road buildings in Berlin by 2040, the current number is 400,000.
