Visiting the neighborhood: Project 'Spaces' starts with 'Lust for Gardening' in July 2024

New garden project "Lust for gardening" invites you to participate

The “Gotenar rooms” project started in July 2024 with the “Lust for Gardening” initiative and thus creates cozy places for lingering around Alice Salomon Platz in front of the university and the town hall. Part of the University Project Campus Transferale (CAT) under the direction of Prof. Andrea Plöger, the “Governaires” project is an important step to connect the closer to the neighborhood. An advisory board from 15 residents was launched at the end of 2023 to promote targeted activities and cultural projects. By creating a small community garden with raised beds in front of the Alice Salomon University, a visible result of this cooperation is created.

Welcome to participation

Interested parties are invited to take part in the care of the raised beds and to take part in the garden project. An email to the organizers or a visit to the ASH gatekeeper is enough to find out about the possibilities of participation and to receive a pot for regular watering. "Fancy gardening" stands for the creation of an appealing and joint place that can be used and appreciated by everyone.
