Construction work leads to restrictions on the regional express line re1 in Berlin
Construction work leads to changes in train traffic on the regional express line Re1 on the night of Monday, August 14, on Tuesday, August 15th, and in the following nights until Friday, August 18. Individual connections are diverted via Berlin-Gesundbrunnen and Berlin-Lichtenberg. The trains affected start at 10:24 p.m., 11:24 p.m. and 0.24 a.m. in Frankfurt (Oder) and drive towards Magdeburg. There are also deviations in the opposite direction. The trains that start in Magdeburg at 9:06 p.m. and 11:22 p.m. and drive to Frankfurt (Oder) are also diverted. This eliminates the access and exit options at the Berlin-Ostkreuz train stations, Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstrasse, main train station, zoological garden and Berlin-Charlottenburg. The exact travel times are published as a PDF download on the ODEG (www.odeg.de) website.
There will also be schedule deviations between Tuesday, August 15, 1.20 a.m. and Friday, August 18, 4.55 a.m. in the section between the Berlin-Charlottenburg or Zoological Garden and Berlin Ostbahnhof. The trains with the driving numbers 73753 (regular 0.24 a.m. from Frankfurt (Oder)), 73752 (regular 4.05 a.m. from Berlin Zoologischer Garden) and 3800 (regular 4:14 a.m. from Berlin-Charlottenburg) will not be held in this section due to work on advertising systems in Berlin.
For more information, interested parties can visit the ODEG website. All other trains that are not listed continue to run according to schedule. It is recommended to achieve the failing stops in Berlin by other public transport.
