Construction work at Wilhelmsruher See: Restrictions and closures from September

In the course of the construction work on Wilhelmsruher See, further restrictions in the green area and the residential streets will be required from the beginning of September.

The bank renovation measures that begin in the first week of September will lead to the parking path around Wilhelmsruher See. This will also inaccess the playground north. However, the southern and eastern entrances to the park will mostly be passable. The playground and the adjacent green area will also remain accessible, although temporary closures can occur due to the construction work.

During the entire construction period, western parking access via Tollerstrasse and the open space in the entrance area will remain closed, since this area is used as a construction site furnishing area. Prohibitions on the stopping zones in Hertzstraße and Tollerstraße are set up to ensure smooth clipping and removing to the construction site. These stopping zones are valid from Monday to Friday, and all road users are asked to observe the markings and to park their vehicles outside of these areas.

In addition, the short -term blocking of a section of the Tollerstraße will be necessary for the period from September 2nd to September 8th, 2024, since the installation of an asphalt application layer in the access area is planned for the construction site. On at least two days during this period, the Tollerstrasse between Hertzstraße and Garibaldistraße will be closed on both sides, whereby the footpath remains passable.
