From mid-December, Deutsche Bahn (DB) will introduce a new international ICE night connection that connects Göttingen with Switzerland. This exciting news comes into force on December 15th and enables travelers a direct overnight stay between Berlin and Switzerland with a stop in Göttingen. The route leads over Hanover and Wolfsburg and is used by travelers from Switzerland as well as from the Upper Rhine and the Rhine/Main area. During the day, the access is continued towards Stendal and Berlin.

The planned trip could start in the evening in Zurich at 6:59 p.m. and lead via Freiburg im Breisgau and Frankfurt at the airport before the passengers arrive in Berlin at 6:49 a.m. In the opposite direction, for example, the ICE will depart in Berlin at 11:29 p.m. and reach Zurich the next day at 10 a.m. The ticket sales start on October 16, which is an exciting opportunity for many travelers to spend the night comfortably on the train.
