The award ceremony took place on September 11th in Berlin and rewarded the AOK programs in different categories. The health navigator was honored for the best medical and clinic search, while the nursing vigor was emphasized as an ideal comparison tool for nursing homes and nursing services. The premiere of the "AOK pregnant" app, which meets the needs of expectant mothers, is particularly remarkable.

The importance of these awards lies not only in the recognition of innovative health solutions, but also in the emphasis on customer opinions. Over 45,000 votes flowed into the evaluation, which increases the relevance and authenticity of the award. According to Dr. Carola Reimann, the CEO of the AOK federal association, reflect on the value and user-friendliness of the digital offers that are continuously developed.

In order to improve the user experience, the health navigators were regularly updated. The latest improvements include the integration of a search function on aid providers and specific information on the quality of treatment of clinics based on the AOK billing data. The nursing navigator also offers extensive information about the quality of care and the own shares that those in need of care in the respective institutions have to provide.

The AOK pregnancy app, which was presented by Daniela Teichert, the CEO of AOK Nordost, stands out through its user-friendly design. The app was developed taking into account the wishes and needs of pregnant women. In addition to various health information, the app also offers video -based workouts that are specially tailored for pregnant women. "The positive response of the users shows that we are on the right track," emphasizes Teichert.

These successes reflect an optimistic trend in German healthcare, in which digital solutions play an increasingly important role. With the award by the German Health Award, the AOK not only consolidated its position in the health sector, but also gave inspiration for future developments in health care.
