Anti-Semitism in Berlin: posters for victims of the Hamas attack destroyed nationwide

according to a report by www.bz-berlin.de ,

As a Berlin citizen, we experience the destruction of posters that show the victims of the Hamas attack on Israel. The anti-Semitism registration office Rias and organizers of such poster campaigns complain as shocking and annoying for memory of the victims. It can also be seen on social media that the posters are regularly desecrated in other parts of Germany.

in Berlin were criticized after police officers removed such posters on suspicion of "unauthorized posteration". Private individuals who can download and print out the images over freely available links often posterly. However, reliable numbers are missing about how many posters hung up and how many have been destroyed.

An Israeli, Mickey, who lives in Berlin, reports that such desecration for Jewish people is unfortunately not surprising. Nevertheless, solidarity from broad society, such as invitations to pizza and beer, is a sign of support.

These incidents show that there are also anti-Semitic tendencies in our city and all over Germany and that the victims of the Hamas attack are disturbed. As a citizen, we are asked to position ourselves against such acts and show solidarity with the Jewish communities.
